Selah FunD Run Endometriosis Awareness 5k Mar 23, 2013 - live and virtual event.
It was a very cold and gloomy morning after a beautiful week of sunshine. I'm SO grateful for everyone who came out, the Selah Police officers and US Public Health Service Commissioned Corps officers and other volunteers who made this race happen. We had 60 register and 56 complete the race in Selah and about 100 internationally from Switzerland, Ireland, Canada, all over the US and Puerto Rico! I also want to thank Angie Whitney who do an incredible job on the original art for the race. We will be donating at least $2000 to the Endometriosis Research Center!
Please, if you know anyone who had been diagnosed with endometriosis or thinks they may have endometriosis they may email [email protected] and just ask for Endo
information and I will send links to reputable sources of information or check the links.
Check out the reports from virtual racers on our facebook and event pages!

We are taking additional orders for T-shirts including Female Tech Tank through March 26.- see the club and race apparel page. See our artist Angie Whitney enjoying the race - we love her original water color and original graphic that she did for us!

2/9/13 - iheartlilly is a huge success!!! Results below. Photos coming.
What an incredible day. It was cold but sunny. We were stunned and humbled by the incredible crowd that turned out to support this race and the Hultberg family! Thanks to lots of generous runners and walkers, great bunch of volunteers and our sponsors who allowed us to donate all of the registrations fees and more to the family. We raised just over $4000 which Selah Fun Runners is sending to the family AND collected over $800 in checks that were written directly to the family. Lilly is old enough now at 5 to understand much more what is happening to her and she is tough, but can also get discouraged. This race fell on a day she was discouraged and all of you who participated brought a smile and hope to this child and her family when it was sorely needed. We are so incredibly grateful for every single one of you who participated!

2nd Annual Trek 'n Treat 2010 another great success!
Thanks to our generous sponsor ALL registration fees were donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society! Despite the drizzle and the parking mayhem from Grid Kids playoffs we had a fabulous turnout for the romp around Selah! Thanks to everyone for making it a great afternoon!
Trek 'n Treat 2010 design history:
This picture was drawn by Lukkes - Baby Lillly's older brother. I do believe Lukkes was inspired at this year's Rock n Roll Seattle Marathon where Lilly's mom Heather told the amazing journey since Lilly's diagnosis with Leukemia at 11 weeks of age. Not a dry eye in the entire purple filled Team in Training audience - and a whole lot of personal records as we soared on the inspiration of this amazing Honored Family!
Lukkes is another one of our heros and very special to Lilly - he donated his bone marrow to her! Lukkes ROCKS. We're super excited he agreed to draw us ANOTHER picture for our super fun event!
